Sophisticated and urban, Shift was launched with the aim of creating understated, versatile and covetable style option for women. Simple separates are instilled with a sense of modernity to create novel expressions. Artisan textiles have been handpicked and specially commissioned from production units that adhere to high environmental and labour standards. We see a conservation of cultural identity and community cohesion in the use of materials and process. organic cotton, khadi and signature textiles from master weavers create a collection of basic tops, dresses, light jackets and hand knits that are both timeless and on trend.

Designer Nimish Shah graduated in Product Design and Development from the London College of Fashion. His stints of work experience at fashion houses like Chloe and Burberry, and retailers like Browns and Jigsaw continue to inform and influence his work. Shah works from Mumbai, and champions an innovative approach to creating sustainable fashion products and services.
