Schangviton

Julia Schang-Vitón (24 years old, born in Buenos Aires) began her fashion and textile studies in 2008 impelling her project which, after three years of development, gives birth to Schang-Viton by launching her first collection in SS2013 Buenos Aires Fashion Week. A few months later, Julia was selected by The British Council and the Argentine embassy in the UK to present her work at the International Fashion Showcase, where she introduced her FW13 collection OVNI (UFO).
Schang-Viton is the aftermath of a personal exploration, grounded on the idea that every collection will be an ephemeral response to an eternal question.
The clothes express the duality that comes from Julia's origins; her creations have visible influences of the cultural fusion related to her French-Chinese surname.
Schang-Viton inspires contemporary individuals and it articulates and evolves around them, responding to their needs and fluctuations. The design involved relates to intellectual and sensitive processes of the user, creating a spontaneous connection between the garment, the body and the mind.
