Investigating the pre-packaged shirt and looking at how it is folded and applying this technique to a tailored jacket. This gave some interesting shapes as it moved the shoulder pads off the body, this theme was then continued and I chose to look at how a jacket could appear to fall off the wearer but still be a fully functional tailored garment.

Samantha is based in London, United Kingdom. She studied at London College of Fashion. Her collections are produced in United Kingdom.
Having studied a BA (Hons) in Womenswear Fashion design where I explored surface textiles and tailoring. I continued my studying to complete a Masters in Menswear Fashion Design where my main focus was turning the 'undesirable into the desirable', which is a philosophy I like to uphold within my current design ideas.
I am a keen illustrator with a strong interest in accessories and how they can become apart of a garment.
