ROSA_BRYNDIS

Inspired by the structures of some of the world's most interresting buildings, the SS12 collections draws upon aesthetical architecture and organic shapes. Moiré and layering techniques deceive the eye into seeing 3D projections from a 2D surface. Movements and lines create depth on flat surfaces, and prevent destinction between plain and volume. This collection tricks the senses and illuminates the beautiful complexety of architectural design.

ROSA•BRYNDIS is an innovative and sophisticated design brand created to satisfy the multiple needs of modern women. The collections are unique and experimental with a touch of the unpredictable. The designs are inspired by architectural and organic shapes that have the effect of creating a slightly askew but yet feminine garments.
The Danish / Icelandic design duo focuses on quality, diversity and luxury. The materials are rigourusly evaluated and carefully chosen. The knitwear is often handknitted and the signature dresses are handstitched. The visual expression is that of "a strong character". The international brand was established in 2010 by Rosa Winther Denison & Bryndis Thorsteinsdottir, whilst attending a design course at VERA - The School for Art & Design. The two designers decided to realize the idea of a collaboration in a new venture, and already a few weeks later, Fashion Week AW10 arrived where the brand had it's debut on the runway.
During 2010, Rosa and Bryndis was tossed into the hectic and exiting fashion environment. The designers quickly integrated designing with their ideology of life and channelled all their passion and energy into the brand.
