Retusj subverts everyday consumerism by literally buying it. Ripping goods off the rack, breathing fun, poise and elegance into lifeless bling, plastique strips and washed out cotton. It’s all about pulling sad, weird or lonesome objects out of mass produce limbo, giving it new life and long lasting interest.
