ReneWalrus is based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. She studied at Edinburgh College of Art and graduated in 2000. Her collections are produced in United Kingdom.

Rene Walrus Atelier was founded in 2011 by Janet McCrorie, a fine art graduate and jewellery designer with a love for fashion and surrealism. Combining her knowledge of the avant garde with her passion for couture, Janet set about to create wearable art for the brave.
