Rachel Freire is a London based designer who showed her debut collection with On|Off Presents for AW09 at the Science Museum.
Rachel is self taught in pattern cutting and tailoring and has never studied fashion. Her influences stem from her love of historical costume combined with futuristic imagery. Behind the dramatic silhouettes and decadent embellishments, the pieces are designed to be wearable, durable, feminine and flattering.
Based at her studio in East London, Rachel and her team are also available for specialist commissioned projects from bespoke couture pieces to entire show creation.
