NYMPHA is a new contemporary fashion label from East London fusing edge and glam with the romanticism. Founded in 2012, NYMPHA intents to create unique clothing women who look to emphasise their imagination through statement styles.

Abiding by conventional tailoring and embroidering rules yet disobeying social conventions, NYMPHA aims to acknowledge contemporary fashion trends and take them to a whole new dimension, reinvigorating them with unique styling and outstanding theatrics. NYMPHA do not believe in boundaries when applied to style and seek to create pieces which are both striking and powerful. Brand’s pilot collection of one-offs ‘Underwater Love’ was presented in August, 2012 and was used for PR, marketing and market research purposes only. The collection incorporated heavy embroidery and enchantingly beautiful but deadly nautical illustrations on biker leather jackets, lace bralets, provoking skirts and embellished mini shorts.

Although still in the inceptive stage, NYMPHA already has attracted a huge celebrity following. Label’s pieces from the first collection made for promotional use only, were worn by fashion trendsetters like Rita Ora on X-Factor final (ITV), Perrie from Little Mix on Graham Norton’s show (BBC), Patrick Wolf and Karis from Stooshe. The garments also appeared in the photo shoots in the magazines and online websites such as I-D, Topman, MTV, Daily Mail, Billboard, Planet Notion, Material Girl (Austria), Abook (Taiwan), InFashion (Lithuania) as well as were used by top celebrity stylists such as Lady Gaga’s stylist Anna Travelyan, Rita Ora’s Kyle O’Devolle, Nicki Minaj’s Richard Shoyemi, Aaron Francis Walker from I-D and many more.
