NUNC
Hairy leather is a big challenge for a designer. Nunc is mostly about trying to find a way how to turn this material into daily fashion accessories.
This time more than before leather is on the first place. Different type of material : printed , covered with silver varnish, treated with oil ,hand wiped and treated with acid to gives the shoes unique look.
Fall/ Winter is about searching for appropriate, perfect form for these unusual leathers, to get feminine and comfortable shoes that could be worn everyday
About the Designer
Dominika is based in PARIS. She studied at BERCOT. Her collections are produced in Poland.
Dominika Nowak
Polish fashion designer born in Krakow in 1982. She was studying film and history of art at Jagiellonian University in Cracow.
After she moved to Paris and finished Studio Bercot.Since 2007 she concentrated on accessories - shoes. NUNC is a shoe concept, a simple idea to find a new direction of using primitive materials like raw leather. Dominika designs in Paris and produces items in Cracow with the help of Polish specialists. Living in two countries, and two different cultures, resulted in a unique, conceptually original collection.
