Always focusing on versatility and freedom, Nico Didonna's womenswear collection for A/W13 was inspired by the Modern Jazz Era. This collection portrays the 1920's and 1930's mellow attitude. There is a variety of garments in this womenswear collection. Garments range from being very sharply tailored and structured to draping freely over a women's curves. The way all of these garments are created help to emphasize different aspects of a women's body; whether sharply tailored or draped, these garments provide a sense of grace. During the original Jazz Era, the front of dresses were becoming more deep cut; during the Modern Jazz Era created by Nico Didonna, the emphasis of the low-cut was on the women's back. There is a revealing nature to the way the dresses free the back and allow movement. There is not a specific way a Nico Didonna dress can be worn; depending on mood and occasion, one dress can be turned into three or more different dresses just by the way it is tied. As usual, all of Nico Didonna's garments are rich in quality, using the best fabrics such as silk, soft leathers, luxurious wool, crepe jersey, and cashmere. Not only are all of Nico Didonna's dresses structured and created beautifully, they also stand out in a crowd. Whether being worn to a special occasion, a night out, or even to work, a Nico Didonna outfit provides a variety. Amazing colors such as cobalt blues with gold metals, and seductive reds are used in this collection, along with the monochrome tradition of black and white.
