Touch!, neoZone and cloudnine: from 25 to 27 February, the new edition of the Pitti Immagine women’s salons in Milan. Over 180 international brands, thanks to scouting that focused on capsules, collections with a high level of product quality and specialisation. There’s also plenty of room for creative accessories.

From Saturday 25 to Monday 27 February, for the community of international top buyers in Milan for the women’s fashion events, Via Tortona will host Touch! neoZone and cloudnine, the Pitti Immagine salons dedicated to the experimental collections for autumn/winter 2012-2013.

In the design location of the NHOW Hotel at 35, Via Tortona, Touch! presents the most sophisticated and up-to-date feminine elegance, with eclectic refined collections and neoZone is the show where contemporary chic meets luxury sportswear. Meanwhile, in the historic venue of the Teatro alla Scala workshops at 58, Via Tortona, the star will be the world of accessories in all its aspects with cloudnine: experimentation, young creativity and tradition. This time round the salons are showcasing over 180 collections, including 75 new names, the result of intense international scouting (around 30% of the brands taking part are foreign). The last edition of Touch! neoZone and cloudnine saw participation by 8,000 buyers and a total of 9,400 visitors.

“Italian women’s fashion posted good results in 2011”, says Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, “and as for all the other segments in the fashion system export was the driving force for the sector, growing at a good pace with lively performance on new emerging markets outside Europe. Our collections have great market potential and we are convinced that, during difficult complex periods for the international economic scenario, like the present one, we need to invest even more in research and quality and invest in trade fairs that attract international buyers, suited to their real needs”.

“We have put a lot of effort into scouting and selection”, adds Agostino Poletto, vice director general of Pitti Immagine, “and we have focused a lot on products. We present collections with a very clear style identity, capsules and quality fashion projects, that at the same time meet market requirements, above all those of buyers most attentive to new entries and future trends. Touch! neoZone and cloudnine will showcase sophisticated capsules like those by Clotilde and Ermetique; collections with big specialisation content, like Francesca Zunino and PT0W; great experimentation in the world of knits by Conny Groenewegen and Kuniè; with plenty of room reserved for the most contemporary jewellery lines, thanks to collections like those by Ayala Bar and Angelo Figus. All this, naturally, alongside established brands and companies consolidated for their product quality, names like Herno, Bagutta, Peresteso and Pantofola d’Oro 1886. Plus space for brands whose products have today become real must- haves around the globe, such as Spirit Hoods and Mia Bag.”
