MY OWN SHOW TO MILANO PRET A PORTER

From 24 to 27 February, for the first time in Milan MI Ready-to-wear, the Italian fashion fair and emerging designers, will celebrate the new edition of My Own Show.
Founded in 2006, My Own Show is an international competition designed and promoted by the Istituto Europeo di Design, under the coordination of Franca Sozzani (Vogue Italia and Director of Advisory Board component of FDI Italy), who each year select the best students Course graduates of the Fashion Network and leads FDI to debut with their own projects in Milano Moda Donna.
The winners of this year's Fashion Design category are Sante Bozzo, Vincenzo Lattanzio and Ines Vilagut, FDI from headquarters in Rome, Milan and Barcelona. Beside her, Francesca Lancia, winner of the category Styling and recent graduate in Fashion Communication at IED Rome. Sante, Vincenzo, Agnes and Francesca have been chosen by a panel of industry experts, chaired by Franca Sozzani, the creativity and the mainstreaming of its projects, research work in combination with the delicacy in the development and the great consistency of design.
In the project space MIPAP +, the area of ​​MI Milano Prêt-à-Porter devoted to the synergy between creativity and industry, FDI will present three capsule collections produced by two prestigious companies of Italian fashion as are Falber-Moschillo and Valentino Fashion Group. Both years that believe in My Own Project and approach to young designers backing them in the production of their outfits. The sixth edition of My Own Show is going to begin. The international competition, conceived and promoted by Istituto Europeo di Design and Franca Sozzani, leads every year the best students graduated from the IED Network to debut on a great catwalk during Milano Collezioni Donna the capsule collections of.

On Monday, 28th November, from 11.00 am, twenty-eight students coming from IED Milan, Rome, Turin, Madrid, Barcelona and Sao Paolo Seats gathered at IED Moda in Milan in order to present 22 capsule collections that they created as Thesis projects last year. It is a selection of outfits that they realized together with books and videos. Moreover, also three fashion stylist projects, a category included in My Own Show for the second year, were presented.

For the Fashion Design category: Sante Bozzo - IED Rome for Womenswear, Vincenzo Lattanzio - IED Milan and Inés Vilagut - IED Barcelona for the Menswear were selected. Their projects will be produced in the next months thanks to prestigious fashion companies. Beside them, for the Fashion Stylist category. Francesca Lancia - IED Rome has been selected. Her project will be followed by Vogue.it editorial board.

The appointment will be on February 2012, with a special event included in the Milano Moda Donna program.
