The events that take place in Milan, in particular the Milan Fashion Weeks (Man and Women), are the most awaited on the international scene by specialized press and by buyers, being themselves the reference point of the whole sector. Every edition of Milan Fashion Weeks includes more than a week of shows and presentations that follow one another closely and pressingly where together with the most important "big" names, related to the fashion world, new talents and proposals grow up and actually take part to the fashion sector with great enthusiasm. Foreign Fashion Houses also apply to Camera della Moda to present their collections and their models in Milan underlining once again the prestigious role that is internationally acknowledged to Milan.
Therefore Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana has a primary role because it deals with the scheduling of the fashion shows/presentations/appointments as well as with the setting of the pavilions of the Milan Fair aside to Milano Moda Donna and with the Press Office. Furthermore it is in charge with local institutions, of proposing and carrying out events, meetings, debates about matters which don't just involve the fashion sector but include subjects of common interest.
