080 Barcelona Fashion. We present the tenth edition of 080 BARCELONA FASHION. 080 Barcelona Fashion aims to turn Barcelona and Catalonia into a benchmark for creativity, innovation and both design generation and projection in the fashion industry, in the broadest sense of the word.

Catalonia and the city of Barcelona have a long tradition in the textile industry for centuries, and the current situation allows us to talk about a consolidation of the design with a distinctive sign, in various fashion areas, such as production, distribution, sales, as well as their promotion.

This is the commitment of the new government of the Generalitat de Catalunya, a government that believes in companies and provides them a platform to achieve international projection.

Fashion, as it is widely know, is about culture and lives intensely in the city of Barcelona.

It is for this reason that this year we wanted to provide the best frames that the city can offer. Such explosion of creativity and new trends offered worldwide will be held at the heart of the Gòtic neighbourhood, in the Palau del Rei Major.

A set of five stately buildings will host designers and their proposals, and will allow us to visualize the new trends, for four days. Once again the city will live fashion with the utmost intensity.

080 Barcelona Fashion was created to become a platform for cutting-edge designers, giving Spain´s independent designers and young talents the opportunities to meet to show their creations. 080 Barcelona Fashion permits better visibility for independent designers with creativity and innovation being the focal points of 080 Barcelona Fashion by keeping in mind the importance of marketing and the need to promote fashion in its commercial aspect.
