Natalie is fascinated by repeat patterns, tessellations and multiples. She has combined this fascination with nature’s ability to replicate. The unfurling of buds, garlands and ferns inspired a collection of three dimensional accessories.
The repeated shapes are cut from high quality leather using water-jets and are joined together by hand to create three dimensional surfaces.
These unique products have a sensory attractiveness that is special in their originality and shape. By using suede and leathers, she has exploited the natural shine and matt, soft and hard of the fabric, to create a tactile contrast for the wearer which is irresistible to touch.
