Morten Underbjerg is based in London. He studied at Royal College of Art and graduated in 2010.

Spring/Summer 2013 marks the new and exiting journey for Danish designer Morten Underbjerg.
Morten Underbjerg is proud and exited to share his own vision for womenswear. He feels the time is right to launch his own label after working as a mainline designer at the RTW studio of Alberta Ferretti. His background includes an MA in fashion womenswear from the prestigious Royal College of Art in London and furthermore freelance work for fashion houses in Europe and the Middle East, draping and researching.
Morten has also enjoyed a collaboration with Kopenhagen Fur and the privilege of being selected for their opening show ”International Talents 2012” during Copenhagen Fashion Week. Other collaborations include Swarovski Elements and French lace company Sophie Hallette
”I’m a true romantic at heart, but my Scandinavian way of thinking always makes me seek and strive for purity” Morten works within ready to wear but strives to capture a couture sensibility with the attention to detail and embellishment.
For SS13 Morten has been inspired by the work of Ben Nicholson who invited Piet Mondrian to move to London and rent the neighbouring studio. ”I’m fascinated with all the parallels but at the same time having a very different aesthetic”. ”The challenge for me was to take this very ridged and strict inspiration and bring it to life and make it move”. One of Morten’s key focuses as a designer is how the clothes move and react with the body.
Morten’s work have been featured in both British Vogue and Dazed, Italian Vogue featured him in the ”ones to watch” section. Celebrities such as Rihanna, Camille Belle and Helen Mirren have all worn Morten’s designs.
