This collection is inspired by Bali and its elegance but is also rooted in Paris irreverence and New York s cool.
We worked with silk plumetti, silk organza, stretch viscose and tulle. And were inspired by the color of the sky at dusk, deep ripened fruits and the flowers abloom.
We love Bali.
About the Designer
MaiKhanh is based in Bali, Indonesia. She studied at Institut de Création et de Couture and graduated in 2006. Her collections are produced in Indonesia.
MaiKhanh is a French Vietnamese designer and stylist. She was raised between Beijing, Los Angeles, Singapore and Hong Kong, trained in Marseilles and worked in Paris and New York.
It’s this constant wanderlust that has shaped her life and inspired her designs.
In New York 2008, she co-founded REBELDNCE, an urban prêt-a-porter label. But after moving to Indonesia and starting a family, desires and aesthetics changed, pushing her to launch MKHANH in 2011.
