About the Designer

MINNAPALMQVIST's picture

Minna is based in Stockholm, Sweden. She studied at Konstfack Collage of Art Crafts and Design (Stockholm) and graduated in 2007. Her collections are produced in Sweden.

MINNAPALMQVIST is an independent fashion/art label based in Stockholm. The designer has an MA in from Konstfack College of Arts, Crafts and Design, 2007.
The brand is working interdiciplinary with both collections, installations and video. The fuel behind all work is the tentions between the socially accepted body within fashion, and the physichal, fleshy bodies we actually have. Unwanted body shapes are incorporated into the garments, giving them a place within the prefect world of fashion.
The collection Intimately Social is an ongoing fashion project that started in 2007 and is presented in new versions at least once a year, numbered by version and year.
