Mike Vensel is a modern minimalist fashion designer with a love for sexy yet functional clothing. He likes to use simple fabrics and reduce silhouettes to the most timeless classic functional shell, he then begins to add layers using deconstructed pieces, belts and harnesses to add modular options to the look. Known for his use of belting in each collection, each piece evolves from a simple belt taking unique elements from each collection and integrating them into the form. He works primarily with a soft fine organic cotton jersey with a touch of lycra in what he calls a second skin. “I design clothing that is fully adaptable to the human body and the various situations that the clothing can be worn.
