The designers
Maria Mastori and Filep Motwary met while they were both working at Loukia Couture House in Athens
For years, the have collaborated on a collection associating Maria’s renown jewelry and accessories with Filep’s clothes. Together, they have made collections, fashion films, participated in exhibitions such as Beyond Dress Codes curated by Lydia Kamitsis, and the upcoming Prints exhibition at Hasselt Modemuseum, Belgium.
In addition to his design activities, Filep is a writer and journalist for magazines such as Dapper Dan, and the founder of Un Nouveau Ideal fashion blog, listed by Dazed & Confused as one of the Top 10 fashion
blogs.
Together they have already worked on 3 films, including SARKA for Vogue.it's LIGHT SERIES.
IS THIS REAL LIFE is based on Mastori & Motwary's NUPTIALIS project, which serves as the main visual for PRINTS! exhibit, opened at Hasselt Modemuseum, in Belgium, on Saturday June 25th. Both the dress and the film will be part of the exhibition.
