The collection is inspired by the smooth curves and linear elements of 60’s furniture, smooth shiny wooden panels that sit next to upholstered bright hues in coarse Meltons. Concrete poured buildings with rounded edges, curved openings & material contrasts. The collection plays with proportion & texture contrasts. Opposing textures sit alongside each other, a shiny patent leather tops a fluffy angora, a juxtaposition that emphasises both textures. Heritage fabrics are central to the design concept. Mary is based in London, United Kingdom. She studied at London College of Fashion and graduated in 2012.

Mary Binding is a London born Womenswear designer. Mary studied at London College of Fashion, graduating in 2012. She aims to create wearable fashion that is relevant to women today. Colour plays a key part in all her work, taking prominence in both her garments, accessories and her editorial work.
