Marlen is based in Basel, Switzerland. She studied at University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Institut Fashion-Design and graduated in 2012. Her collections are produced in Switzerland.

In her collections, marlen keller (www.marlenkeller.com) is utilizing all kind of opposites to create intensity and at the same time a balance between them. She creates worlds for the audience that can only be left again when the persons wearing her clothes have passed by. Portrait shots of personalities whose outward appearance reveals as much about their inside as the beholder projects on them were the initial position for her design. The surface of the fabric, however, is Marlen Keller's guiding idea regarding materials. She dies, etches and processes her fabrics until they have the desired look.
