The A/W 13 Collection continues the signature of the brand MariusPetrus whilst taking a slightly darker turn. Inspired by a world that gets harsher everyday the collection is about self-preservation and survival. This reflects in the oversized silhouettes, use of sturdy fabrics and graphic prints. For this collection the signature digital prints resemble the look of shattered glass, organized into dazzling monochromatic patterns. The MA-1 bomber jacket is used as a symbol of power and strength with references to this iconic piece returning throughout the collection.

About the Designer

MARIUSPETRUS's picture

Marius is based in Antwerp, Belgium. He studied at Artez Hogeschool voor de Kunsten and graduated in 2011. His collections are produced in Belgium.

MariusPetrus is the new menswear label by designer Marius Op ’t Eynde. After graduating in 2011 from ‘Artez Hogeschool voor de kunsten’ in Arnhem and completing internships at Alexander McQueen’s menswear department and Raf Simons’ studio in Antwerp, Marius decided to focus entirely on his own brand.
MariusPetrus brings strong, masculine collections, with graphic shapes, bold colours and architectural prints. Classical tailoring elements with a modern signature, merging seamlessly with sportswear influences and high tech materials, creating an interesting blend of men’s heritage and future concepts.
High quality materials and a keen eye for detail and finishing are key to MariusPetrus’ designs. Working with strong colours and fully ‘in-house’ designed prints, next to a base palette of crisp whites and deep black, adds another dimension to the collections.
