SIMPLIFIED GEOMETRY

SIMPLIFIED GEOMETRY:

Inspired by the artist Robert Mangold's geometric approach in his work, the Autumn/Winter '16 collection explores simple geometry through subtle panelling, shadows and lines. These are reflected through a mixture of soft pleats and subdued contrasts between the metallic sheen of the satin and matte texture of the alpaca wool-blend.

Embellishments are added in a clean approach that comprise of the various basic geometric shapes such as the rectangle and the circle: clear discs, glass pearls, metallic beading and Swarovski crystal buttons. With a muted and neutral colour palette, rosy pink hues give an ethereal warmth in complementing the geometric elements of the collection.
