MANCANDY by Andres Jiménez is stimulates the senses, celebrates creativity and permeates individual personality. It creates not only a look but also a lifestyle.
In the latter part of 2007, the photographer and musician Andres Jimenez, decided to create MANCANDY: a label inspired by daily life and the purest of values such as liberty, innocence and artistic sensibility.
Andres loves to Work whit Mexican materials, and some fabrics are sponsored by Kaltex, one of the most important company of fabrics in Latin América, and he is working whit the newest process on fabrics in the industry. Now Andres is the first Mexican designer who is working’ on a Eco-line using only cotton/polyester recycled fabrics.
Andres distinguished himself during his first collection by winning Best New Designer during the Mexico Fashion Awards by Lycra. Since then, his trajectory has made MANCANDY a favorite with both consumers and fashion editors and stylists alike. MANCANDY is published in the most coveted national and international fashion editorials like Nylon Japan, Nylon México, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue, Invoice Japan, and Glamour amongst others. MANCANDY now retails in NY, LA, UK and México.
