Shilpa is based in Mumbai, India. She studied at SNDT University, Juhu, Mumbai, India and graduated in 1996. Her collections are produced in India.

Drawing inspiration from local influences and observations, the label “little shilpa” is a collection that takes a vintage thought and transcends it into a modern product through the usage of varied raw materials.
The inspiration of Little Shilpa comes from travels and interaction with various cultures.
It is a unique concept that does not transcend time; it takes shapes and juxtaposes them through accessories, pictures, headpieces, fashion films, art pieces.
Littleshilpa creates this co-existence by combining the past with the present, decadence with clean and simple design.
the usp of the brand is that each pc. is hand made and each pc is a one- off.
