LIONBLAU
"Thinking about time-travel, the beginning of the inspiration for Lion Blau's "ELEVTHEROI"- Collection, he realized his own scene of an ethnical future, where we as human beings move back into times of ancient civilizations and modern civilizations, tribes of africa and the indigenous people. Confronting the commonly accepted fantasy of the “mechanical animal” being robots, cyborgs, aliens, super-humans with his picture of an ethnical future Blau created clothing for ourselves in the future, with forgotten language, forgotten history, forgotten revolutions. Every piece is a hybrid between those two fundaments, in fabric, accessory, colour, technique and material."

About the Designer
Lion is based in Berlin, Germany. He studied at Royal Academy of Fine Arts and graduated in 2011. His collections are produced in Germany.
Lion Blau graduated with a Fashion Design BA from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium in 2010.
In his work Lion Blau takes his inspiration out of several scientific fields such as physics, biology and social sciences and focuses around the deformation of the human biology. Lion Blau is currently working on establishing his label, with the anticipation of a first collection for A/W 2013.
