Rayson Tan, a designer whose canvas expresses his design aesthetic, dream and visions. He majored in Communication Design from LASALLE SIA College of The Arts in Singapore. In 2005, he won the Red Dot Design Concept, an international award on making products with good design. Although he initially started out as a graphic designer, Rayson has a penchant for designing fashion accessories too. Since the inception of L'ILE AUX ASHBY, his masterpieces have been featured in the local and international media including VOGUE, VOGUE Italia, Glamour UK, International New York Times, Surface Asia, W Korea, Highsnobette.com, CNNGo, Refinery29, NYLON Korea/Thailand and the lists goes on.

Rayson believes that design is the welcome mist of air in our environment. “Design envelopes us, creating an impact in our daily routine. I have a strong desire to create the best designs that will hopefully revolutionize the way people perceive their surroundings; my intentions are to unlock the eyes and provoke thoughts. I am often spellbound with the world around me and that is where I find my inspiration.”

Encapsulated around a style maven, the collection is build upon a vision of contemporariness that is passionate for all things modern.

Likened to a bold visionary, she leads the trends on the streets in her own individualistic stance and persona, holding a definite stance in personal character. The essence of her being is essentially represented by imageries of dreams, hope and innovation, fueled by a methodology of fresh innovation in vibrant, funky unrestrained yet sleek geometrical shapes and patterns, in pristine sophistication, that are conceived by an organic string of thought in technology and in play, in the season’s colour wheel.

Beneath her, her tenacious facade accentuates a realistic energy that is an absolute ideal to today’s society; ready to take on a world that is fundamentally filled with escalating architectural skyscrapers to even greater heights than ever before. Armoured in her finest, she is every inch a voice for the future, a dictator of style and to sum it all, a maven in her own rights.
