French born Caroline Rossignol and Ghanaian born Edwin Abaka are LES FILLES by. Their debut capsule collection was inspired by the captivating beauty and details found in timeless male clothing. The personality of the prominent MALE SHIRT served as muse for the collection.
Edwin, a relentless modernist and Caroline, a Parsons Fashion graduate describe their approach as merely strong spontaneous reactions to “ideas/concepts” that naturally exist or present themselves. They stress the importance and commitment to the highest standards in craftsmanship as well as timeless modernity, which drives their passion to experiment for instance with Fabric creation, and depth illusion.
