Positive and enthusiastic, this collection expresses a distinct love for life, energy and sense of humour. Inspired by traditional Japanese kimonos and their extravagant textiles as well as Art-Deco architecture and stained glass, this collection contrasts volume with very bold colour and intricate yet large digital prints to create a colourful summer look with an elegant and sometimes exaggerated silhouette. As with all of my work, the simplicity of the clothes allows for the colour palette and prints to speak for themselves, and humorous hidden details, especially in the prints and fabric combinations, add the final unexpected touch.
