LEENA_MULEY

Titled 'Masanamu', the Swahili word for 'statues', Leena Muley’s first collection explores the lost and faded life behind the statues collection at the Musée du Louvre in Paris in parallel to vintage photographs of African tribal clothing. This was expressed through the fluidity of movement in drapery interspersed with tailoring and abstracted animal print embellishment.
