DESCRIPTION:
The collection draws inspiration from fetish lifestyles and fashion. I wanted to translate fetish ideals into a wearable collection. Focusing print themes on Japanese rope bondage, illustrating bondage rope and colouring with delicate pencil marks which created the digital print. Innovation is important to my work so when choosing to use latex, I developed a new technique for digitally printing the layered rope design onto latex. Silhouettes for the latex garments are loose to the body and fitted to the hip with rounded shoulders. Woollen garments are cut with a high waist and slim fitted to the body creating a classic and elegant shape.

ABOUT ME
I worked as a studio assistant for Emma Cook, working closely on showpieces for the A/W 2008 show, where I represented front of house during LFW and also dressed for the S/S 2009 show.
During my studies I have also worked part time at Harvey Nichols, on brands such as Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs and other brands on first floor. Gaining a good understanding of the retail end of the high fashion industry, an in depth and intimate chance to understand key aspects of the market, both on an individual fashion buyer level, and on a wider market level.
