Kevin Kramp wins the first ever €3,000 Modateca Award at the 10th anniversary edition of ITS# (International Talent Support) in Trieste, Italy. ITS# (www.itsweb.org) is one of the most important and influential fashion competitions in the world, gaining significant exposure, monetary prize and work opportunity for young designers. Finalists this year presented to a jury comprised of Viktor & Rolf, Hilary Alexander, Antonio Berardi, Bruno Colin, and Barbara Franchin, amongst other influential veterans of the global fashion industry. The Modateca Award was presented to the designer who showed innovation and significant accomplishment in knitwear in fashion design. Endowed by legendary Ms. Deanna Ferretti, a knitwear entrepreneur who has collaborated on knitwear collections for over 30 years with designers including Yves Saint Laurent, Kenzo, Giorgio Correggiari, Michelle Bruyere, Adrienne Vittadini, Armani, John Galliano, John Richmond, Margiela, Gai Mattiolo, Valentino and Viktor&Rolf. Ms. Ferretti dedicates monetary, material and industry support to the winner of Modateca Award.

Kevin Kramp is an emerging men's knitwear designer recognized internationally for his sophisticated high-concept work, including innovative exploration of shape and beautiful use of colour, pattern, stitch technique, and luxury fiber.
Kramp's work has been featured in international fashion and style publications in the UK, France, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Africa, Japan, Australia, and the US, included in fashion and knitwear exhibitions around the world, and he is the recipient of several awards and grants for his creative work. Kramp holds a first Bachelor's degree in Visual Art and Italian Studies from Brown University, a second Bachelor's Honours degree in Fashion Design with Knitwear from London's world-famous Central St. Martins College of Art and Design, and he has apprenticed and worked with designers and creatives around the world, including in London, Italy, Brazil and New York.
