JOANNAHAWROT

The HIROKO collection is a set of eighteen items, being on the verge of European and Asian fashion esthetics. The design stylistics, alluding to the harmony of oriental inspirations, creates an image of urban warrior, which is a blend of modern avant-garde and casual. The layered garments, aiming at multi-functionality and change, are the leading elements. Gradation of black, grey, silver, and warm burgundy divides the projects into two distinctively featured groups: black loose coats, samurai-dresses and lighter grey-burgundy structural tunics. The whole collection is based on wool, silk, knitwear and lamé. The project is, for the first time, supplemented with self-designed shoes made in cooperation with MYS Fashion Group. The collection had its premiere during the prestigious Brooklyn Fashion Week(end) in New York and on the international fashion fair ‘The Gallery’ in Düsseldorf.
