I’m interested in the boundary between clothes and jewellery on the body. I have asked questions by myself about their value and the relationship. The three-dimensionality of the objects created in this way blurs the distinction between the conventional functionality of clothing and the non-functionality of jewellery. I also examine conventional notions of materiality. Emotion and vision are essential properties in understanding the materiality in my work where fabric and metal are used in ways that question the conventional distinctions we make between clothes and jewellery.
