The Autumn/Winter collection 2012/13 MOSAIK by 'isabell de hillerin' explores the extremes of weight - heaviness & lightness. Playing with balance, this latest collection is inspired by its individual parts that collectively form a mosaic of colors and shapes. Rich and contrasting fabrics fuse with soft shapes to define a new whole. Folkloric handmade Romanian materials combined with clean cuts represent a position between new design and tradition - the exclusive signature of the Berlin based label 'isabell de hillerin'. Isabell is based in Berlin, Germany. She studied at Felicidad Duce Barcelona/ Spain and graduated in 2009. Her collections are produced in Germany.

Isabell de Hillerin founded her own fashion label in Berlin 2009. Her design ideas sensitively reflect a personal interpretation of contemporary and sustainable fashion. The combination of clean, innovative cuts and folkloric handmade Romanian materials transmit a position between new design and old tradition. ‚isabell de hillerin’ stands for elegance, structured cuts and details which remind of an old tradition. In recent years the ancient fabrics industry in Romania has been driven to near extinction. To strengthen this traditional artisan industry, her label works with local Romanian manufacturers to support the production of handmade materials. Her aim is to push these highly skilled craftsmen by publicising and utilising their cultural skills in a way that hasn't been done before.
