Julieta Lopez Acosta is a fashion designer, stylist and artist painter, living in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
During her experience as a stylist she worked with renowned photographers, brands, designers and magazines such as Michel Commte, Gustavo Di Mario, Jake Nava, Malik Hassan Sayeed, Ray-Ban, Samsung, Heineken, Mercedes Benz, Nike, BMW, Hennessey, Vogue Italia, D-Mode, Rolling Stone and many more.
Her colourful career then lead her to work for one of the most popular TV shows in Argentina for three years, “Kaos En La Ciudad”, styling Juan Castro. Julieta has also contributed to fashion magazines like Vogue Italy, D-Mode, Mercado del Fuencarral Madrid, Rolling Stone, La Fuga and Elle Argentina.
Finally she started doing what she is best at and founded her own label “This Is Estar En El Horno”, with a unique twist in creating collections, inspired by museums, books, movies and rock and roll: each piece is a work of art, hand made and hand dyed.
Her pieces were part of the recent exhibition at the Faena Hotel in Buenos Aires, the Malba (the Museum of Latin-American Art in Buenos Aires) and at the Carolina Muller showroom.
Versatile and accomplished, Julieta is motivated by a genuine love for fashion and combines her exquisite taste with her long standing admiration of haute couture, vintage clothing and street wear.
Julieta is now working on her next collection and her solo art show called “If You See Something, Say Something”. We can’t wait to see it, for now you can see and buy from Julieta’s collection at THE SHOP.
NOTHING INSPIRES ME LIKE… Life.
I HOPE… That everyone will be able to make their dreams come true, always!
CULTURAL INFLUENCES… For me are South America, and Google, the new bible.
I GOT WHERE I AM... Yes.
FASHION CAN SOMETIMES... Be more useful as toward the power that could have
I SCREAM WHEN… Something is completely unnecessary.
MONEY MAKES… The world go round and round.
LOVE NOW BECAUSE… Life is now.
CREATIVITY COMES FROM… Love.
IF I COULD… I would show everyone that we all have to change, all the time.
MY DREAMS ARE… An imagination store, open 24/7.
MY FUTURE IS… Now.
MY VICE IS… Is my gasoline.
MY MUM... Is my muse.
I TRIED TO LIVE... Doing beauty and art, I succeeded.
I LIKE MAKING... All that I want.
