About the Designer

Josh Grenel and is based in United States. Her collections are produced in United States.

Hero Crane, known for its edgy, handmade, deconstructed tops is inspired by the textures and imperfections found in nature and filtered through a multicultural urban perspective.
Josh Grenel and He Yang, the married duo behind Hero Crane are known for their one-of-a-kind "recycled couture." Discarded thread, plastic, lint, and lace are among the found material they incorporate to create stunning pieces of wearable art. It's from this sense of experimentation that in 2009 the retail line was born. The designers met while Grenel was studying abroad in China. It was love at first stitch and the garments definitely reflect a vogue East meets West collaboration of style.
