A vibrant young Scottish label tipped for the top. The Central Saint Martins graduate Henrietta Ludgate is winning praise from industry insiders. The debut collection 'Chanterelle' was presented at the Autumn Winter 09/10 Glasgow Fashion Week to rave reviews opening doors to a presentation at the media centre at Vauxhall Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week and to present the collection along side Luella and Graeme Black at the St Andrews Fashion Show FS:09 described by the Sunday Times as "Scotlands most exclusive fashion show" . Her capsule collection is being carried by the hippest store in Scotland, Che Camille after being spotted at Glasgow fashion week. The store which is described by dazed digital as " a crossover between Paris’ Colette and Milan’s 10 Corso Como with a Scottish Arty twist" has just hosted three fashion shows in which Henrietta presented her collection to the Scottish press and selected clients. Henrietta Ludgate combines sculpture with couture, creating a very distinctive signature of classic looks with a sculptural edge, sharply tailored coquettish dresses with a surreal sense of humour.
Henrietta's studio is situated on the wild and remote Highlands and Islands of Scotland located on the beautiful north east coast.
