Most recently Hasan Hejazi 24 has completed his Masters in Fashion Design and Technology at The London College of Fashion with a successful collection of contemporary, playful, glamorous eveningwear. His main aim is to create garments that women will be excited and wowed by and most importantly they must feel powerful, confident and sexy. With a strong colour palette of pinks, blues and purples and with contrasting textures of goat fur and sequins this has surely been achieved.
Hasan’s interest in fashion started at a very early age when he became obsessed with Madonna and her outrageous 80's style, watching her like a virgin Tour religiously everyday. Born and bred in Manchester in the surroundings of the TV show Shameless he started to act upon being creative side by studying fine art at college for 3 years, firstly specializing in painting but then eventually taking on fashion. His next step was applying for the BA Fashion design course at Manchester Metropolitan University which was firstly refused but after reapplying the year after was accepted going on to successfully graduate in 2007.
Career highlights so far have been showing his graduate collection at Graduate Fashion Week 2007, receiving great feedback from Hilary Alexander, Amelias Magazine and WGSN also becoming runner up in the Best of Manchester awards fashion category in 2008.
Hasan’s main focus for the future is to fulfil his ambition and passion to have a successful line of exclusive eveningwear. In the near future hoping to work as part of a design team or to stock the collection within a boutique.
