HAEKELSTORFER
The Austrian label "Häkelstorfer" stands for the creations of designer Katrin Eckerstorfer. The brand's concept is hidden in its name. "Häkeln", the German word for crochet, is the main technique used for her designs. The first jewelry collection contains bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings. Eventhough the materials resemble gold and silver, these unique pieces are made out of yarn. Only for the clasp different elements are being used (100% nickel and allergy free).

Katrin is based in Linz, Austria. She studied at University of Salzburg. Her collections are produced in Austria.
The Austrian label Häkelstorfer was founded in 2010 by designer Katrin Eckerstorfer.
Katrin was born in Linz and studied at the University of Salzburg. Traveling has always been a big part of her life and she loves to explore foreign styles and designs.
From 2006 to 2008 Katrin lived in NYC for two years and got a lot of inspiration in the Big Apple. Once she had returned to Salzburg, Austria, she started working on her first Jewelry Collection and launched it in fall 2010.
The label Häkelstorfer also carries a Headwear line and soon a "Green" line.
