George Styler's collection 'Captivity' is initiated by reflections on the existence of freedom of the modern man, his right to belong everywhere and to everyone, to move and speak freely, and to dress without restraint, yet still captivated by the freedom of his choices. This paradigm derivatives from the reality in which liberty is largely a declarative right, and We are increasingly captured by the modern society, new media, prejudices, internalized social criteria and externally-imposed anticipation. George is dealing with the questions of freedom through fashion design which includes elements of symbolic meaning. A bird is a symbol of freedom; but a cage could also be associated with freedom; the punk movement is a symbol of rebellion and nihilism; and decorative details of this collection represent the author's opinion that the society wants the man to become a simple decoration - a decoration of the world which he believes he rules. 'Captivity' is a sociological study expressed through fashion, where words and phrases are replaced by clothing of expressive communicative power

George is based in Belgrade, Serbia. He studied at The College of Textile - Design, Technology and Management and graduated in 2005. His collections are produced in Serbia.

George Styler was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina,but he has spent most of his life in Belgrade Serbia where he currently resides. His collection is based in London, Unitef Kingdom.
Design background:
Graduated from College of Textile - Design, Technology and Management in Belgrade, holds a diploma in apparel design and textile design.
He started his career in Fashion house "Todor" where he gained knowledge about textile, design and knitwear, which is his huge love.
He has been working in the fashion industry for over 5 years and he designed clothes for men and children.
Today, he is a freelance designer and he is working hard to start his own brand called ''George Styler''.
Design signature:
His fashion style combines knitwear with other styles, and through his collections he always tends to convey a certain message. His debut collection was at FASHIONCLASH Maastricht 2012 in Netherlands, with a mix of punk, knitwear and Balkan elements.
Awards:
Up to 2012 George Styler was awarded twice for his fashion work.Together with his colleagues from ‘Todor’ he was rewarded at October Wellness Fashion Selection, where he obtained the first prize for ''The best collection for actual season'', and after a year of hard work (2008), he received
a ''Prize for the best quality commercial collection''.
He also participated in 2009 at Charity Fashion Show at the White Palace hosted by Serbian Royal Family and Fashion studio 'CLICK'.
