GEORGE is based in New York, United States. He studied at University of Applied Arts Vienna and graduated in 2011. His collections are produced in Austria.

George Bezhanishvili is a Georgian born fashion designer, who graduated from University of Applied Arts, in Vienna, Austria under professors Veronique Branquinho and Bernhard Willhelm. Bezhanishvili mainly focuses on the menswear collections and accessories. Debuting with the “Long Haired Child” collection in 2008, when he won the Swiss Textile Prize along with SONG concept award, continuing with “Jheronymus” collection in 2009 at the London Graduate Fashion week. Same year Bezhanishvili interned at the _Fabrics Interseason while becoming the 1st Prize Winner of the Fondazione Claudio Buziol – International Fashion Competition. In 2010 “A Day Before Confession” collection was presented on a runway at the Berlin Fashion week, while Bezhanishvili was selected to do the Camper Master Craft workshop in Mallorca, Spain. In 2011 he became the Rondo Voeslauer Fashion Award winner for his Diploma work named “ODA”, meanwhile winning the Austria Ministry of Culture and Education award as an outstanding Artist of the year, for his effort in the fashion design throughout the last six years.
