garth is based in Perth, Australia. He studied at West Australian School of Art and Design. His collections are produced in Australia.

Garth Cook, graduate of the West Australian School of Art and Design in Fashion and Textiles 2006 has returned to Perth after living in London for the past three years.
Whilst living in London Garth immersed himself in the European fashion industry. He worked with designers Marios Schwab and Husam el Odeh, assisted at London Fashion Week, studied at the London College of Fashion and attended Premier Vision Textile Fair in Paris.
2008 saw the release of Garth’s concept collection incorporating the use of luxurious wools, waterproof linens with hand painted wool jersey.
Late in 2008 on the strength of his fine-jewellery experience with Sinclair’s Jewellers of Perth and his debut women’s wear collection, Garth interviewed for a jewellery design position for international fashion house Burberry.
While the opportunity of working for the world famous brand was exciting, Garth’s decision to further develop his label and to be back amongst family and friends in the growing Perth fashion industry was the perfect end to a three year adventure.
Since returning to Perth Garth has been involved in a group show for Perth Fashion Festival 2009 and won the “Absolut Emerging Designer” award at “Style Aid”. The award included a $5000 cash prize, which was put towards the business development of the g a r t h c o o k fashion label.
