Divya Raman recently graduated with MA Digital Fashion ’08 in womenswear from London College of Fashion. FMCG (Fast Moving Collectible Goods) is a design label conceived and created during her master’s program. Her design ideology employs digital technology in fashion as a toy and tool. FMCG merges fashion and digital art through an original and unconventional approach in garment creation.

Her current collection ‘Tele-commandments: for a cathodic soul’ explores graphic narratives by the fusion of lenticular animation and digital textile print. The pieces were created in collaboration with an innovative print firm Riot of Colour®, London.

Divya was a finalist of Project Runway India (Lakme Fashion House ‘06) with Donatella Versace in the jury panel, subsequently invited to showcase at the Lakme Fashion week. In the past, she worked as a prêt-a-porter womenswear designer for a leading design house on international sport and street brands: Levi Strauss & co. ®, Orsay®, FILA® to name a few.

Tele-commandments is a disrupted live broadcast from the glorious home of god.

Bless you for watching.
