Elena is based in Berlin, Germany. She studied at Art Academy Berlin-Weissensee and graduated in 2005. Her collections are produced in Germany.

The brand name Firkant (Firkant means square) refers to the square shapes which correspond to the orthogonal texture of textile, and which are the basis for the most significant styles. From these shapes Elena Kikina, the designer of Firkant, creates unique items with a noble design and unorthodox but precise fit.
