EYGLO

Eygló Margrét is based in Reykjavík, Iceland. She studied at Iceland Academy of the Arts. Her collections are produced in Iceland.

Eygló started her own label in 2006 after graduating from the Iceland Academy of Arts and interning with Bernhard Willhelm, AsFour and Jeremy Scott. She is a part of the nine designers that co-own the shop Kiosk on Laugavegur in Reykjavik. Eygló continuously tries to rediscover the wheel in pattern cutting, as well as, in detailing. That often gives her collections a bit of a futuristic view, whilst at the same time she tries to make her clothing timeless. You can always find something humorous in her collections.
