DESCRIPTION:
This ‘noir’ collection sees a shift in attitude with dramatic bias cuts and structured garments resulting in a silhouette of unexpected shapes with a tactile and sensual quality. A redefinition of tailoring where fragments of memories mix and match to create new structures. Echoes of modern architecture and typical tailoring elements are reworked with modern twists, shapes are adapted to more recent tailoring techniques to produce luxury worthy of the old couture tradition. Focusing on shape and multi-textural designs with feature zips and asymmetrical cuts, this collection offers a dramatic take on womenswear with the occasional historic influence. Winter capes are hooded, biker jackets appear to have medieval hip ‘paniers’ and ambassador-esque side sashes fixed with crystal adornments – all counter balanced with contemporary zip detailing.THE SHOP | MY ITEMS
