EUCALYPTUS

Sailor girl meets Riviera princess at Spring/Summer 13 collection. Life is a sea of opportunities to wear all the fabulous outfits. This season, Friday on My Mind presents a collection inspired by the nautical theme with a touch of 50s Americana, sailor girl and Riviera chic. Fun cats and anchors prints, textured stripes and mixed floral prints bring life to the day looks whereas polka dots and underskirts are the party girl’s statements. Fitted day dresses and proms, mini-skirts and shorts feature red heart-shaped buttons, Peter Pan and cute sailor collars, bow ties and detailed halter neck tops. The fabrics are also summery and easy to care such as denim, cotton and jersey – ideal if you want your clothes to work hard and make you look fabulous and comfortable at all times. A beautiful colour palette combination includes bright red, blue and green balanced by monochromes black and white; softened by pastel green and pink and accentuated by romantic floral prints and polka dots. About the Designer

EUCALYPTUS's picture

Sonia is based in London, United Kingdom. Her collections are produced in United Kingdom.

We are a womenswear label based in London. Combining originality and femininity, our creations feature fresh and modern fabric designs - all created by our all women team of designers. We appeal to independent and fashionable women who want a stylish and funky look, expressing their personality.
Eucalyptus has got a history of steady growth. Designer and founder, Sonia Au-Yeung left South Wales at the age of 19 to come to London to study fashion: "Fashion was what I always wanted to do. Since I was 8, I used to cut up curtains to make dolls clothes. I came to London to study fashion and stayed here ever since."
Trading started in Camden Market and soon moved to a studio where all the creative work was done. The production involved very small quantities, which enabled the label to grow gradually and test the market.
Eucalyptus is now stocked at over 100 independent boutiques in the UK, France, Belgium, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Greece, the United States and Japan.
