Angela Bang is based in Barcelona, and she graduated from Ied Barcelona in 2007. Her work adds a touch of masculinity to a collection filled with memories of Twenty-somethings and 1980’s raw power. Her “Fringed” collection emphasises freedom of movement and the playfulness of the body.
London based designer Eleanor Amoroso launched her label last season after attracting attention for her uniquely handcrafted graduate collection. The brand encompasses modern elegance with a tough, darker side with perhaps the most intriguing thing being the fact that each piece is made entirely by hand.
FANNY AND JESSY
Fanny and Jessy are a design duo who originate from Somerset and graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2009. Their clothes have been worn by performers such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Kele Okereke (Bloc Party), Saint Saviour of Groove Armada and Caroline of Kap Bambino.
Eva Howitz and Frieder Weissbach are the designers behind Howitzweissbach, an international fashion label from Leipzig (Germany). They work conceptually with a unique style to produce clothes, shoes, stockings and accessories from luxurious fabrics and materials.
Julia Heuse and Ben Klunker founded their eponymous fashion label after graduating from ESMOD in 2006. The label’s search is focused on a balance between commercial and conceptual, classic and avant-garde and mixes glamour with a unique Berlin street style.
Pedro Pedro (born in 1973), completed a Fashion Design Course at the Academia de Moda do Porto. He began doing fashion illustrations, launching his brand in 1998. PedroPedro's clothes achieve style through immaculate construction, allowing women to feel elegant and confident with an edge.
Svenja Specht is the German designer behind the label Reality Studio. After working in Paris, Germany and China in the fields of graphic, product and fashion design, she started her own label in 2005 in Berlin. Her design combines multicultural influences with an androgynous elegance which results in very special but always wearable collections.
VERONICA B. VALLENES
Veronica B. Vallenes is a prize winning Norwegian designer based in Copenhagen. Her design juxtaposes the edgy and cool with the feminine and elegant. Focusing on straight lines and silhouettes, she combines vintage with contemporary references and adds a touch of the exotic.
